Hey guys,
just looking into something aftermarket and wondering what you guys preferred and why?
i've been leaning towards a typical Yosh, but after hearing Han's 2 Brother's i'm looking for actual exhaust sounds
i found this site as well:

Take apart your stock muffler and gut it

Why?

Personally I prefer oval carbon fibers (ie, Muzzy) because they have a slightly deeper, throatier sound. Also, there is a weight savings and of course the carbon fiber look.
D&D is just plain obnoxious and from what I can tell so is Jardine.

Akrapovic Ti!
Super lightweight.. heavy up top is bad. Super bling... bling counts. Real power gains.
Don't forget a Power Commander.

That's cause it was a VMax. A V anything will make your nuts tighten up.
Kerker's day is well over. They were doing well when my last bike was made (87).. but no more. All their designs are dated and not particularly desirable (not light or known for power).

Slip-on or full system? If you just want slip on, then Arata matte black is the way to go, pricy, but best gain for a slipon and sounds nice. Look into it, the arata fits under the tail perfectly. IF you just want it to sound good and okay HP gain then Yoshi,2bros,Scorpion, or even hotbodies kit. Full exhaust system...Hamaguchi all the way!!!

Does anyone know the name of the exhaust that has two pipes coming out of the back side by side (not motogp style)? They are super shiny. Maybe only sold in europe?
It looks sick, but I have no idea about HP gains or weight.
The only ones I've seen that come out as a double canister are the Devil exhuast, but they were the over-under MotoGP style. Still, if they make an over-under they may make a side-by-side.

i'm just looking for a slip-on that's louder, sounds crisp, and looks good. I'm leaning towards the Yosh RS-5 w/carbon end cap. I think the bike has plenty of power for me right now and i can't even use all of what it has currently has, so power gains are not really what i'm looking for. Weight savings is a given, but i figure almost all aftermarket exhaust systems are going to save me a decent amount of weight.

I think D&D makes them too, but i've only seen the MotoGP Over/under style with recent research, but i have seen the side-by-side version somewhere. I'll keep looking.
I say straight pipe or glass pack. Give that RR a really unique sound!

D&D does a side by side dual can design that exits under the tail.
I've seen the swingam+undertail exit sold before and I don't much see the point in buying it... it's a lot of bling that will do absolutely nothing except look funny to those of us that recognize the RC influence.
Why not just core you current pipe?

Laser makes a really similar design for the VFR800 VTEC that has 4 pipes like that instead of 2... it's very MV'esque... pretty cool, if you ask me.
