It is a 6.1L Hemi. I think the Hemi should have been kept outta the Jeeps all-together. I have seen one also...they are badass. But a Hemi Jeep? Come on! I mean, yeah its a gimic...but that took it too far. I was looking at different tow options last night...I was seriously thinking about this...
I know it is wierd...but I have always wanted one. Not because I am some goth wierdo....but I just like odd vehicles. a 73' Eldorado by M&M (like that one) or a Superior (has a higher top and bigger side doors). The big side doors is a "3-way" you can load it from either side or the back. These things are great for towing and hauling. The rear suspension is designed to carry a ...load... of something like 2500lbs. That, or a turbo mini with the towing package.

You have gone off the deep end.

You know, I keep hearing that American car brands are in trouble, and I just don't know enough about the whole situation, but I can't hardly believe it. These new cars/trucks look fantastic!
Chrysler is the only "American" (and by American I mean German) brand that is making headway at this point. It is GM and Ford that are on the slippery slope. Toyota might be the #1 automaker in the world by the end of this year if GM does not turn this thing around. In other news...has anyone other then me and Justin noticed the new Dodge Nitro? Feces... I can't believe they are building such an ugly thing. It might grow on me in person. I love the Caliber now that I have driven/seen one.

I have 3 "hemi" powered vehicles right now in my driveway!
(and none of them are chrysler products)
You are correct Evan, to a certain extent. The Hemi cars (past and present) have a half circle combustion chamber...a complete half circle. It is true that many cars now have that full half or close but there are many that do not. That was a big thing back in the 60's and 70's with the 427 when most cars were still flathead v8s. Hemi as a technology is commonplace but the "Hemi" trademark is something Chrysler can hold on to And come on now...isn't their anyone else here who has ever wanted to own a hearse!?

I believe the common term for Hemi is pentroof combustion chamber and VTEC Hondas have them as well as most Toyotas now as well as many others. Also, no I've never wanted a vehicle that once stored dead people in them
Two feet.
Its funny...as I have checked the forum this morning I could watch Andy make the rounds...lol
