NOT MY CAR

"Just letting the locals know that I'm going to be selling my MR2 turbo in the next few weeks. I'll be putting it on Autotrader. So if you are thinking of purchasing a MR2 turbo soon, keep me in mind.

1991 NA to USDM turbo swap. 5 speed trans obviously. 142k miles

- 1995 MR2 body items: spoiler front and rear, painted side moldings and lower fascia, tailights. (I spent $3500 in parts, paint, and labor)
- tons of OEM replacement parts
- everything works as it should
- rebuilt turbo brakes all around, stops on a dime
- Everyone wants this: MANUAL STEERING and NO ABS

I'll get more into the description when I'm selling. I'm getting it ready for sale as we speak.

Depending on how well the swap went, it's not to far off the market price. MR2 turbo in crappy shape command 4-5k. It's also the SMG color that is pretty rare. I wouldn't pay that much but others will.

it depends if its 120k on just the body or both the body and the engine/tranny.

7500 sounds like a decent price to me. the body is perfect.

I bought a 91 MR2 turbo with 110k miles on it for $6.2k about 6 years ago. I hadn't kept up with the market for them since then, but I didn't think they would sell for $7500 now.

Of course I did get an awesome deal, then I sold it a year later for $8.5k, so you may have to ignore my comments.
