Yea that was it, I think i'd have to be all watched via TV, that way they could overlay the 'track' on the screen so we could keep track (ha) of where they were going/who's in the lead. Probably suck to watch live.
I saw a plane race at an airshow years ago. Basically a big oval in the sky. It was pretty cool, not too hard to keep track of, but I really dont know how much pilot skill has to do with it. It certainly isnt 'rubbin is racin'
