Infinity Basslink II
#1
Hey guys, has anyone heard a basslink in a car in action? I or II? I am looking at getting the Basslink II and the 4channel amp that goes into it for the Daytona. I am getting a SMOKIN deal through work so none of the "they are too expensive for what they are, get a 12in sub and a cheap 1000million watt amp!!!" I was just wondering if anyone has a friend with one or has one themselves and could give me an opinion on the bass output. I want some space saving thump in my hatch. The wall at work is not an a good representation of how it really sounds.

on a similar note (sorry to jack your thread) are there any really small subs that could fit in one of my rear storage bins. The one behind the passenger seat is deeper than the driver side, so I'm thinking one there. I've wanted better sound, but the speaker openings only allow 6.5" speakers, so I don't have much bass. I just want enough to fill the sound, not to f'in rattle the trunk going down the street.

here is a pic I found, ignore the ricer roll bar.

chris, a del sol message board or honda-tech will yield you far better answers than here.

You could probably fit a pretty beefy 6X9 in those bins, put the amp in the center and pursuade some decent bass out of them.

You don't need a sub in a del-sol.

the reason i say this is because like the s2k, i'm sure there are plenty of custom solutions. maybe even stuff you can order. for the s i can buy headrest speakers, and little subs that fix perfectly in the corner of my trunk, taking up really no usable space at all.

6X9 speakers sound like crap overall. an 8in infinity in a little box back there an d a set of components in the front would rock out

A set of components with Alpine Type-S 6x9s in the rear. However GET AN AMP. They will sound like ass as they are made for higher power than a head unit can make. Dont beleive that bulllshit about any headunits making over 22RMS. They literally cannot draw any more power from the battery.
