yeah, one of those threads, again. what kinda loot are you guys looking to score this year?

i'm hoping for a torque wrench, some camera gear and a lens or two, and maybe a cool PC game. my parents are also giving me a set of all seasons for a joint bday/xmas gift (my birf is like 2 weeks before xmas). i'll probably buy a b00st guage and with any money i get.

Nothing - my family really doesn't give nor receive presents other than a few knick-knacks here and there. Bah-humbug. I really hate XMas anyways - years spent working in restaurants and hearing the music for 5 weeks straight made me eternally bitter.

yeah, girls defintitely do go crazy over Very sexy.....however, if you want a scent that not everybody within a 20 foot radius can smell....get Armani for men. Any girl that is within a foot will notice, but its not overpowering. Plus girls love it.

Seriously, if you're ever looking for a big screen TV let me know. I know a secret mom-and-pop spot here in Northern VA where you can get big TVs, surround sound systems, furniture, etc. for obscenely cheap. The only downsize is that they don't ship, so you've got to bring a truck or Uhaul to bring them home.

I'm in love with it, it was the first big purchase I made after I got my job. On the black part of that pedestal it has touch screen-like controls that light up when you touch them. Has PC, HDMI inputs, etc... right now the N64, XBOX, and computer are all hooked up to it.

I really want to get a 6' HDMI Monster cable to try it out because I've heard how much of a difference it makes in quality, especially with the HD, but I'm having a really hard time justifying paying $200-$300 for a 6' long cable.

The guy who owns this place buys open-box and display TVs from Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. and sells them for mad cheap. Some of them have minor cosmetic blemishes on them, but some (like the one I found) are perfectly fine. He gets new stuff in all the time and you can ask him to look for certain things for you.

The place is really strange, he's got like tons of TVs... plasmas, projections, DLPs, LCDs of all types and sizes, stereo equipment, then he's got like furniture, cereal, food, all kinds of random shit. I think he buys bulk or damaged items and sells them for a decent profit. Let me know if you decide to roll out there, I'm right down the road. I'd like an excuse to browse that place again and see if I can find a better sound setup for that TV than I have now.
