Just putting this out here if anyone has nothing better going on with their life.
Working on my car in Alexandria at my house off of Madison St which is a few blocks north of King St.
The schedule for the day is to pull the old motor...and tear everything off of i that I will need for the other one.
I'm having some crazy deja vu right at this point...so if I already posted this up I'm sorry.
I don't have a lot of room, or any nifty air tools, and we can't drink or get rowdy because it is my parents house. But, everyone on this board is invited to drop by.

I'm going to put my prothane motor mount inserts in...because it is kind of hard to do them with the entire motor in the car. That's about it I guess.

I changed the oil on a dsm couple days ago. Whatever asshole did it before must have forgotten the slightly over hand-tight rule, since I had to gore it with a screwdriver twice before it had turned enough that I could turn it with both hands. Is there any reason to have it super tight on a DSM (like the oil dipstick issue)?
No reason at all Dave. Just some asshole who thought tighter was better.
Car is here in my small ass garage now.
Going to get an early start tomorrow.
