The hours and hours I spent cutting down tree's and splitting wood when I was young could have been cut in half and then some if we had one of those.

The speed that it goes through that log is unreal. Unless you've ever actually cut a log of that size with an off-the-shelf saw, even a Steil or Husky, you just can't appriciate the V-8!

Thanks for correcting me Chan.

I know that with a Stihl MS 280 (pretty much off the shelf chainsaw) it still takes about a minute to cut through a tree that large.
Now cutting down a tree is a whole different story, since you have to wedge it. I'd like to see how fast that thing could cut through a standing tree, although holding a V8 sideways may be a bit tricky.
