WORKER THREAD for Sept 24, 25

Please post here and e-mail me at <a href="mailto:laura@nasaracing.net">laura@nasaracing.net</a> if you are interested in working this event. We need to have a definite number of flaggers by September 5.
These people have already e-mailed me directly and expressed interest:
Jess Chapin (grid)
Rex Elsea (needs to confirm)
Julie Lineburg (needs to confirm)

If Rex wants to flag, then we can use 2 more people. If Rex does not want to flag, then probably only one. We can take as many flaggers as possible.

I (Keith G.) would like to flag that weekend. If anybody else would like to work thats at school I will be willing to drive down for this event, w/an empty seat in my car.

Ok....here are the details!

I count 7 MM workers total which means two hotel rooms. I will put one room under the name of Andy Lee and one room under the name of Chris Procopio. You guys can decide who goes where!

Here is what I have for positions and please let me know if something is not correct! I will not be at this event since I am so far along in my pregnancy, so please ask any questions now. For those that are trained flaggers, Mark Adkins will have a check in your name at the end of the weekend when you return your flags and radio. For those flaggers in training, please have Mark Adkins sign off on your logbook. For those people working other positions, please have the Chief of that position sign your logbook.

Trained Flaggers from MM:
Rex Elsea (will be captain of a station)
Keith Galvin (will be captain of a station)

People in training for flagging:
Alison Varner
Peter Denbigh

Other positions:
Chris Procopio: GRID (or Sub for flagging)
Andy Lee: GRID
Julie Lineburg: Registration and timing and scoring

Chris P also has a friend working at Grid. (Eric Schumann)-edited by chris

SPECIAL NOTES:
Chris P: You will be our "on call" person for flagging in case we have a no-show. Please attend the flagging meeting which will occur toward the end of the 7:45AM meeting Saturday morning.

I need one grid person (either Chris or Andy) to report to tech by 7AM or earlier on Saturday morning to help Kaan and Richard. I am sure Matt will let you have a longer break later in the day to do a ride with an instructor, etc to make up for it! If you want to volunteer, please e-mail me...thanks!

FLAGGERS should report to the All Hands Meeting at 7:45AM at the tech shed. Please arrive by 7:30AM to avoid backups at the gate.

Julie L: I need you to help at registration by 7AM or earlier on Saturday morning. You will work registration until 8:15 and then report to timing and scoring to help James Packer (Chief). You will be in timing and scoring on Saturday and Sunday.

I'll be there Friday around 6. I'm going up with 2 other mustang drivers that live close by.

Andy are you still in the burg? Im driving up (unless a ride here presents itself), and though Im sure its easy enough to get there on your own, I wouldnt mind heading up there with someone just to make sure.
