that's pretty impressive Chad. about how far are you through that turn (just curious since i figure you're lifting it a bit under acceleration, right?).

i think we need to have a little MM trike competition. who has the best 3 wheeling (2 wheeling?) picture!

i know Evan and RJ have some good material 8)

Thats cool Chad, now change your signature. The statement I made has some legitimacy to it. There are domestics that are trying to capitalize on the import scene!

what does this have to do with imports or domestics? and you still dont get it rob, its not the import scene, its the sport compact scene. i dont think mustang GT's with cobra engines fit into the sport "compact" scene. too many cylinders. too much displacement.

I'm sure there are Chevy truck owners all over the world who are right now, at this moment, hating you for calling their 5.3 V8's "not that big."

Under your classification, the M5's V10 "isn't that big" either. RS4 motor? Not that big. Atlas I6? Not that big. Big enough to swallow a 4G63 whole, (or a 1JZ, for that matter) but not that big.

You're right Rexy. They're all not that big.

These engines are....that big.

If you think a 5.0L V10 is big...well I'm sorry. Audi's and trucks with 6 cylinders? Why would you even bring those up in a conversation about being big.

I'm glad you think those engines are big enough to swallow an inline 4.

But anything under 360 cid is called a small block for a reason...and yes I'm well aware of small block engines hit close, maybe even over 400 inches.

If Maeng chooses to say that 289 cid is too big for the sport compact world....well I choose to say that any v8* under 350 inches isn't really that big.

Fair enough, but show me a sport compact with anything over 289 CID. The closest thing you'll find is *maybe* the new Pontiac with the 5.3, but that's stretching it.

In theory, you could get a Chevy Small Block to over 400CID (that's 6.6 Liters) but you're really asking for a failure at that point.

thats my point. i'm not saying that 289 is big, but compared to other "sport compacts", its huge. shit my integra had a 1.8L which is what like 5 cu inches?

whats the point to this discussion?
who cares if an engine is "big"? or is that just another small cock complex that if your engine is as big as a house that makes it good?

personally, Ill take a high revving small displacement v8 over some ancient iron monstrosity out of the 1960s anyday.

just FYI, Chevy Small block 400's are very common (402, 409, 406, 427)..think 60's impalas , practically the only difference between the small and big blocks is the internal/external balancer.

The distinction is based on size...and some small blocks are so damn big they blur the line. If you want to call a 409 or a 427 a small block...go for it.

Fuck. My bad Evan. I forgot that every MM thread needed a point.

Smallcock syndrome is when you tell people it's not the size that counts...but how you use it. Seriously...I'm not even trying to make a joke.
