Ryan's dyno day...with pics

So I went down to Ride Revolutions this morning to dyno the supra. 3 pulls for $30 with an air/fuel readout. The numbers were about on par with a n/a supra with exhaust. I put down 177.5rwhp and 167.3rwtq. Highlight of the day, the VW GTI with no exhaust that burned through the strap and snapped it in half.

I was pretty impressed overall, it was on a dynojet. When Ian and I left the highest number of the day was by an '04 Cobra with a whipper? s/c that put down 593rwhp.

edit: Chad has shown me the way, its whipple, not whipper.

Ride Revolutions is in Johnson City, TN. They were having an open dyno day and that was just the price they were offering, I couldn't pass up such an awesome deal.

looks like its pretty rich up top, too....but at least the curve is pretty smooth.

Did you see the group of guys from CCVT there? A bunch of them drove down together. I wish I could have made it, oh well.

Yeah, I talked to the CCVT guys for about twenty minutes, plugged MM a bit. They are going to get back to us about an event they are organizing. They want to get several colleges together for a big college showdown autocross.
