How much would it cost to go from auto to manual in a civic HB/240 SX? Auto's go for so much less from what ive seen than manuals for both cars, so im kind of curious.

It would cost more than just getting a car with the correct gearbox in the first place for a cheap car like that

i don't know about civics, but it would probably cost around 400 to convert a 240 unless you find a really good deal

I picked up a spare trans for the integarrrr for $200. Slow cars kick ass!

Trans, Proper ECU, Shift Cables, Shifter base/shifter, clutch master cylinder, pedal assembly aren't that hard to find but it takes time. But when it's all said and done, the time/money costs of an auto swap surpasses just buying a five speed, but haven't said that: If you're still doing the h22a eg hatch, you'll have to find most of those parts except the hydraulics/pedals.

i'd say using new clutch/flywheel you could do a civic for 750ish.
