NASA at VIR July 30, 31 WORKER THREAD

NASA hopes to see you at VIR on July 30, 31!
VIR has asked us to let them know ASAP of the number of corner workers we will need. Once we submit this number, it will be difficult to change it. Please respond here and e-mail me immediately if you would like to flag for this event at $75 per day (must be already trained). Once you commit to flagging, you cannot back out since we will be depending on your presence for the event to run.

We can also use 4 other regular workers fulfilling a variety of responsibilities. (Grid, timing and scoring, tech, registration, etc.) These workers will receive credits toward a future driving event (2 weekends worked = one weekend of driving).

Also, since this is a 3 day event, we can also use workers for Thursday night and Friday all day. If you can work Thursday night from 6:30-9PM and from 7AM all day Friday, you will receive double credits for that day. So in other words, if you can work all three days plus the Thursday night tech shift, you will have earned one free weekend of driving. We can use 2 people for the Thurs/Friday shift.

Laura, if you wind up w/ an extra double room that you won't need can you let me know? I'm on a waiting list for a double room to move from my King and I called again today and they said still no go on the double. So just let me know before you call and cancel that room so I can grab it.

That's great though Laura, thanks. As mentioned in an email to you, she and I are both avaialable starting Thursday. We'll both be down there as we will be traveling together. I still want to drive Saturday/Sunday, but she'd love to work Thursday-Sunday.
