this is a guy who recently joined the RPS forums. the car is a W123 Mercedes-Benz sedan, rwd with a 3.0L Vulcan from an Aerostar (same as Ranger)
he's adding a Eaton M90 blower, doing all the fab work himself. he majored in industrial design and is doing stand out work so far. not finished, but it's close. FMIC and all too!!
94 Civic VX 92HP!!
1992 Ranger Sport
Looks awesome. Why that engine though? That car isn't *that* heavy (around ~3000lbs, IIRC), but you'd think a V8 swap would be the first thing to come to mind...
My two feet.
I have never heard of anyone trying to swap a 3.0l Vulcan
into something before

hock: . It's a very reliable engine, just not a very powerful one. 12v, ~6000 theoretical max rpm (my GL is redlined at 5500rpm) - it's just not a performance engine. Nor is it light, good sounding or smooth. I'm sure a supercharger helps a lot, but there are many better engines to drop into a benz.......
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.

1995 BMW 540i/A
1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWD
very odd combo and choice indeed. i'm struggling to figure out why.

No longer onyachin.
he was asked that. he answer was this. he had the shell of the Mercedes and and the Aerostar. apparently him and his dad have other cars also that they have done. he decided for fun it would be his project. he's not expecting something fast, it's just kind of a training project for his major. i'm guessing he's got equipment and money so he's utilizing what he has.
