There still needs to be plans for a party, even if there is no theme. Last year there was also a cookout.
Since there was no word on anything going on, I made other plans for sat. night anyway.

Not while we've still got a place to host 'em. We're gonna throw down again this year, towards the end of the summer...
My two feet.
The point is we have a tradition of doing more than a regular 'play beer pong and get drunk' party. That would be just like every other party at JMU on any day of the year. In other words, pretty lame. Sure, it would be okay, but certainly not something that I would go out of my way for like I have for all of the MM parties of the past.
MM has always been about doing more than the bare minimum not being lazy and doing what everyone else does. We could have been content to have a jerkoff club where people just talk about cars all day and have "tyte meets y0". But we're much more than that and that's why we tend to throw better than average parties.

Well if you dont have a plan - a location, a time, a theme, etc - i.e. BBQ at this place at this time and party starting at this time - then there's not much of a party going on.

Time to start thrashing then. How much alcohol do you think we'll need? 2 maybe 3 kegs?

chris, thank you for all your effort (again!) ont his years show. now since mostly alums have demanded a party, i will have to agree with G. yeah, we could throw the same ol' party that is found everywhere at jmu, or we can have some sort of reason for the jmu females to flock to the motorsport house because their parties are "waaaay funner!" than regular keg and beer pong. not that i have a problem with kegs and beer pong.

2 kegs is good - lets keep some cash in reserver for a 3rd if need be.
Jungle juice is also good, cheap and everyone loves it - I nominte Dave since his juice last time kicked a lot of ass.
The place - at b00bies place.
So all we need is a theme - remember it has to be cheap, helps everyone have a good time, and easy to put together at this point. I can pick up a stack of those "torch on a stick" things from home despot for the outside. Tiki party? everyone wear hawiian shirts? Sounds cheesy...

It wasnt a demand... it was venting because i thought an expectation hadnt been met!
