1977 celica GT liftback

103k . original owner. always garaged. awesome shape.. no run anywhere.. starts and runs perfect.. very clean.. very complete... everything works.. needs nothing ( well there is a slight exhuast leak at rear muffler)

dark green tan interior (leather)

this is my best freinds uncles car. i really want it but i cant have 3 cars, i will never sell the GTI and the GTS is too much fun to sell right now.

price is in the 1k to 2k range..not 100 percent sure yet

I REALLY WANT SOMEONE INTO CARS AND THAT I KNOW TO BUY THIS.. im bugging all my freinds to get it. looked into it and there are TONs of aftermarket parts for it even forums deticated to 1st gen celicas

In the mean time, could you get a model number, most of my questions can be figured out by that so long as its still stock, relative to a car of this vintage

dont know the modle number of those... but just look up info on a 1977 celica GT liftback. there is plenty there to figure eveything out.. and yes the car is bone stock. never molested

is it a 22-R engine in it(know they put em in 2nd&3rd gens)? if it is and the price is 1000 or around that then let me know. There was a pretty nice 1st gen celica around 1169 Ashby earlier this year but it seems to have disappeared Sad

i wanna say the engine says 20R on the front of the valve cover.. and the specs on the vin plate thing said 2189cc's or something around there so i assume it would be a 2.2L

Was it blue? I know the chick who owns that car. Her dad worries about her driving it around here in the winter so she left it at home.

that car is sweet as hell. isn't that the same one that was in that James Bond movie when Roger Moore was Bond? its the one where he jumps the car over the river in Hong Kong or whatver and does a barrel-roll in midair with the country boy riding shotgun? i'm pretty sure it's a celica.

At first I was gonna say no that was a 2000GT but I think you're right. That was a scene in The Man with the Golden Gun with the Celica.
