I know Rex won't like the idea, but I'm thinking about it anyways. :lol:
I currently have a set (4) of 16x8.5 300zx wheels and a set (4) of Mille Miglia 17x7.5
Unfortuneately, this is too big for the front, but I can probably sell 2 of them for ~175 and get a pair of 16x7.5 300zx wheels for $100 (profit $75)
OR
I can keep these, buy a set (4) of 16x7.5 300zx for $250 and essentially have a track and street setup with the same wheels. I imagine I can sell the current wheels and tires for $300 (profit $50)

Changing the wheels on the Mille Miglias is a royal PITA and the 300zx are bigger in the rear. However, I kinda like having a pimpish street setup and a setup for the track that is different.

i love the look of the Z wheels. if you run a staggered setup you won't have the convenience of easy wheel rotation though. but you're used to that with the s00pra, right?

i say rock the 7.5 in. Z's in the front, and the 8.5 in. Z's in the rear. you can keep the nissan tradition alive, have mad grip, and look hip 'n bad in the process!

I like the idea of having a street/track setup. Look at all the serious guys and they have a street/track setup. You're moving through the groups quickly, and soon you will start realizing the limits of your tires.

The downside is that good track tires are expensive. However, using them for track and street will be even more expensive.

Plus, it's a hatchback, so transporting the track set won't be a big deal.

But I very seriously doubt you'll be able to sell just a pair for 175, considering I paid 250 for all four. If you're going to sell them, you should just sell all four of them. Get 4 7.5" for street tires and then and go with the 8.5" in the rear and 7.5" up front for track tires.

And get the cheapest, most POS tires you can for your street tires because YOU EAT THEM.

Indeed. I mean, let's face it. Green-door-blue-mirror-blow-smoke-hare-lipped-roof-cancer 240 isn't exactly going to look *that* much better with the 1000M's than it will with Z wheels. So just put 7.5's all around, and keep a pair of 8.5's for the track.
