we may very well go with the GFCP since it isn't blatently vulgar or anything. i was hoping for a GI JOE slogan

yeah glad we got the voting done tonight. we're going with the traditional MM symbol on the front and a 50/50 order on yellow and black shirts. This is cool since some wanted the yellow! The slogan on the back ( I forget it exactly) is being considered due to how it may be viewed.

I'm with Chris on this one - the ladies might not take kindly to this saying - and I hope I'm not the only one who wishes there were a few more ladies in the club.
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.

I liked the concept, but I can tell you, I would not wear a shirt that says Suck, Squish, Bang, Blow. Now if you all get it, go for it, but I wont' be proud to wear it.

I had really hoped for the tachometer shirt again. *le sigh*.

Does the CafePress store have the tach shirt?

Maybe someone could also design some logos for CP, Don't get me wrong, I luurrrve the MMBlock design, but, I can think of some other cool designs, as well.

I just wish I could draw worth a shit.

just say the word boss. i would like to design stuff for the club....tell me what you guys want to see! the only reason i haven't taken my own initiative on this yet is because i don't want to spend time mocking stuff up, then have it shot down when i could just take requests in the first place.

seriously, all i draw is cars and car related stuff. been that way for years. i can draw people to an extent, but machinery is my specialty. and don't think i'll be done when im graduated...keep asking me what you guys want and i'll do what i can do design it.

Ok, here's what I was thinking. First, the cones on the MM Pong table I think would be an awesome t-shirt. Like a twisty road, with a pair of cones, and MM on the bottom.

Also, maybe the outline of an agreed-upon car (Most likely something exotic, I.E. Ferrari, Porsche, etc) above the yellow "MM".

I dunno, I'll think of more ideas. Don't get me wrong, I like the MM Block t-shirt. But if you're willing to do some more designs, I can think of them all day long, then maybe we can put them up on CP, or some other t-shirt website. Even if we don't make a profit on the shirt, the publicity will be A+.

ok so i dont mind the hold shirts and i actually need another sweatshirt... the original is fine but if someone wants to work on another one at any time so we can see it... lets do it.

i was thinking of this too. maybe a side profile outline of a porsche GT2, or some brand of supercar with an unmistakeable profile.

Or an Elise. I think that'd be a good choice. It's immediately recognizable as sporty, even if you don't recognize the car; it embodies what most of us think of as a sports/track car, and will do the same for most people who actually DO know what it is.

If we put a car on one of the shirts it should be one of the racecars of one of the teams we know (i.e. FoW 360GT or Trofeo GT, PTG BMW, Bimmerworld 325, or G&W GT3R).

As far as logos go, we have an official logo and we've built recognition with it. To change the logo would be like BMW ditching the roundel or Chevy ditching the bowtie. I do think however that different variations of the logo should be used for different things. For instance there's the Honda logo, then there's the HRC symbol, Honda motorcycles red wing, Honda Racing logo, Red Honda 'H', and the regular red H O N D A logo. Same with Ferrari where there's the Ferrari badge, Scuderia Ferrari badge, and the F E R R A R I logo. We could probably do something similar.
