I have access to a 400 cc yahama motorcycle engine. We were going to put it in a golf cart but could never get a decent price on a cart. I had the plans drawn up and everything. Anyone interested in a project :lol:

I believe ODU races in some SAE kart racing series and they use a gixxer motor. And about building a chsis from scratch.... I have access to TIG welders, MIG welders, and the too much fun plasma cutter  .

In fact, a friend of mine did his senior PhD (ME) project on a formula car with a motorcycle engine. Maybe he still has his notes?
