Cars That Can be Imported in 2017 Due to 25 Year Rule

Some of the cars on their list are stupid, but here are the standouts that I think a few people here would be interested in...

Ford Escort Cosworth RS
Ford Fiesta RS1800
Mazda Familia GT-R
Subaru Impreza WRX
Honda NSX-R

I would never sell a NSX-R if I could get my hands on one but they're at least $100k in Japan right now, and that's before you get into the export costs. Probably one of the few cars that's certain to rise in value.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

Me too. Just let me drive a Sagaris one last time and put into a wall. Wouldn't mind going out like that.

I forgot about the TVR, but looking into it more, both the Chimaera and Griffith are eligible for importation.

Looks like one could get a decent Chimaera or Griffith for under $20k. The perfect vehicle for automotive masochists who love curvy, dangerous, and poorly constructed cars. Who here's gonna be the first to buy one?
