Which group was that GAC 350Z running in? Looks like one of the former Performance Nisssan / Unitech cars...

Yes, he was down at the other end from me, he had 2 actually. They brought, 1) Silver 350Z (street car used for HPDE) 2) Silver 350Z (The old GrandAm car, this actually was delivered) 3) Old Beat Fox Mustang, old race car 4) E55 - Time Trial's Car 5) Noble - Blown engine And several support trucks/cars and a big motorhome. That guy punted me in the Karts friday night after I passed him... I had been closing in on him at about 2 sec/lap.

He's another that showed up to grid very late for the race on Sunday and snuck out even though he shouldn't have. I can't say for certain whether the grid workers let him out or if he took it upon himself to enter the track and catch the field.

That guy actually drove the 24 hours at daytona a few times back in the day. These guys were the nicest rich ass guys I have had to deal with. They were a crazy registration problem because of all the cars but they didn't get impatient or act like assholes like some of them do.

If the guy just got up there late for no other reason then just being late I have no sympathy for him and he starts from the pits.

Kristy let him out Well I think the 3 minute thing was specific for this event. Chris brought this up during his morning meeting saturday, I don't recal this being an every event rule.

The rules are (not including exceptions), anyone that's lined up at the back of grid waiting to get in at 3 minutes is allowed to be gridded, if you show up to that line after the 3 minutes you will not be assigned to your grid spot and start at the back of the pack. If you show up to grid after the pack has left you're supposed to be put at pit-out and wait there till the field has received the green and passed the start stand and you start out from the pits. We make hardship exceptions, and exceptions for racers who are also instructing in a session prior to a race, but not for people who just decide to show up late.
