I had a good time last night, the more people that come the better it will be, I should be around this thursday if we want to try again.

Also - I can give a shot at hosting this time, I'm not on a wireless and my computer should be able to handle a bunch of AI's if needed.

yeah, you guys got dropped a couple of times there near the end, maybe we should give that a shot. Mine's an old AMD, ~1.4Ghz, it can barely stay above 15FPS sometimes, so being the server probably doesn't help!

Make sure you put your comp outside of the router if you have one, that tripped us up last time until Pete figured it out for me. Let's do the demo server one more time, maybe backwards track? We don't really need AI cars, but I think having one to kick around is fun.

It's a pretty spread out field at this point. We're still kind of in HPDE2 mode.

My best lap has been with the XF GTI. It is 1.52. A good lap time is 1.34. I am definitely down for Thursday and my brother will probably be as well. That is wow was going the wrong way at the beginning. It is fun and I am addicted y0.

The RWD definitely takes some getting used to.

My brother is probably going to join us as well.

Feersty - you would be surprized at how much time you can take off a lap if you use a game pad or wheel

When I was playing last year, the fastest guys were in the 1.28s with the GT Turbo, My fastest to date was actually last night with 1.30.4........

I have no problem hosting tomorrow, If anyone is going to be around I might try it out tonght - just to make sure everything is in working order

it would be pretty cool to swap setups too for fun, i bet we'd all get faster from the feedback

oh and Feersty, you can be mad fast in the XF if you get used to it. plenty of guys have rocked me with that when i'm in the XGT. thankfully i think i'm starting to get my setup pinned down....which has taken forever because i keep reverting to something that wants to oversteer all the time.

well there are a couple ways to shift manually....i shift, but my clutch is auto and i have auto throttle lift on upshifts and auto blip on downshifts. you can set it up so that you have to do all the auto stuff i just said but i have enough trouble just getting around the track, i don't need those complications.

I shift with the shoulder buttons on the gamepad, like many other racing games.
