Great Company for iPod cases

This is a small company that makes aluminum cases for the Nano and other iPods. I just wanted to share for those that have iPods. I ordered one and received it in two days. They have great customer service and a really nice product. My nano fits perfectly inside and the finish is great. So go check them out if your looking for a good sturdy case :!:

Ipods are stupid.

There.

I said it.

I paid under 50 dollars for an MP3 player with over a gig of storage AND it was brand new AND it doesn't have white "mug me" earphones AND I'm not a trendy whore.

Sorry. Had to get that off my chest.

ipods are great... if they are free. grossly overpriced for what they are, but if i were getting an mp3 player for free, i'd want an ipod.

yes, i have tested probably 30 different mp3 players.
yes, i received a free nano.

the iPod's definitely got one of the better DAC's in it of portable players. You can buy others that match up, but they're not going to be $50 to match up to the sound quality. An iPod and a set of Grado's or something like that will go a loong way

It didn't look like they had screen protection from the photos, does the case include anything to protect the screen from scratches that I missed?

I disagree, the Creative series of players has since the beginning catered to the audiophile market, with very good sound quality and S/NR
The one thing I do like about the ipod is the AAC encoding format of itunes. Much easier to get good quality at lower bitrates than ancient MP3

My comment wasn't aimed so much at players like the Creative Zen as it was as the $50 and $100 players you can get off the shelf everyday at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc.

*edit* But I guess saying that a $100 player won't compete with a $300 player is kind of a given.

How long have you been using it? I like the design but I'm also concerned about dust and stuff getting into the housing since the click wheel area is open. Has your click wheel gotten scratched or worn at all?

My first ipod had a rubber sheath that covered the whole thing and worked flawlessly, until of course some rat bastard stole it...

I've got an invisibile shield on my free nano, and that's been all I've needed. I toss it in my pocket, keys and all and it's fine.

i haven't really had it long enough to give a good answer to that, but as of now i don't think it is going to be a big problem, but i'll keep you informed
