Just got back from X3, started off a little slow but if you've seen the first 2 you have to see this one. I liked the 2nd better. oh and stay past all the credits Wink

It's alot, worlds, tons better than MI-2.

2nd that, 2 kind of lost me, but I actually enjoyed 3.

And I thought di-vinci was great! I don't know why reviews are so hard on it or you didn't like it Andy. Jess had read the book, I hadn't, but we both liked it a lot. Maybe because we'd just been to all those places.

We'll probably end up seeing X3 in the theatre, but that might be about it. Oh, maybe scanner darkly and cars too assuming reviews aren't terrible. The rest are rentals for me.

I read DaVinci Code and I guess I didn't really like the writing or the plot. I just dug the interesting premise. I guess the movie wasn't very good because the book wasn't very good in terms of plot and delivery so the movie was constrained by Dan Brown's writing. When the actors were explaining the "secret of the grail" it just felt really cheesy.

X3 was really cheesy too. I dug the fight scenes but I thought the whole teen love triangle was really lame. I get that they had to bring in the pre-teens into the theatre but it was really lame. Anna Paquin as Rogue really bothers me and the "Cure" doesn't fit within the Comic as the "cure" is just a trick to create super evil mutants. I was expecting Apocalypse in the movie. Juggernaut needed a bigger role. The movie felt like a bunch of loose ends with no real underlining theme.
