So, I had a Vault Soda at 3:05AM. That was a bad bad bad bad bad call. So I decided to start a thread about summer projects!!! TELL US ABOUT UM!!!
I'll start-
1. Finish the Daytona
2. Finish the Daytona
3. Finish the Daytona
Sorry, I'll be serious now!
I really will be focusing on finishing the Dayona project. The car will be running and on the road by the end of the first month of summer. I will be painted after I drive it for a week and make sure the engine does not need to come out again (lol) Once that is done I plan to be getting another Daytona Shelby (89+) to provide spare this and thats for the main car and a drivetrain for the Omni. I hope to have the Omni as a TII 5-speed car w/ a front mount intercooler by the end of summer. Running with stock boost. If I have enough money I plan to have the Koni coil-over setup on it and ready to roll to the track!! On a side note I hope to be playing with the Daytona's suspension over the summer too. Nothing to crazy. Just replacing worn out stuff. Nick and I are hoping to develop a Hybrid e30/Chrysler suspension to give the Daytona full coil-overs w/ inserts. This would allow the use of many different brands of strut instead of just Koni. We hope it will be good enough we can market them to the TD community. Most TDers are not BMW people, so I doubt it has been tried. Besides all that crazyness, I will be trying to get around to working on the Challenger some. I will be posting pictures of that car on here this weekend (Yay for finally owning my own digi-cam!)
Tell us about your fun and comment on mine!!!

My summer trip = Moto GP in July. I will take 2-3 days before or after the trip and cruise from monterey to socal. I thought about taking the whole month off, but I wouldnt go anywhere else, with 2 races that month I'll be broke as shit.

yeah, although summer means that its usually light out when i get up to go to work and its usually light out when i go home from work. winter is miserable because its pitch black when i get up and the sun is nearly gone when i get out. now thats depressing.
anywho, my summer plans will hopefully involve upgrading the miata's suspension and maybe adding a few bolt on goodies to give it a tiny bit more power. then hopefully i'll drive down to florida to visit my bro and maybe try to hit up barber motorsports park while i'm there.

summer? uh...no trips planned (although Anne is trying to get me to come to Nantucket with her), nothing major to do on the racecar, BUT I would really like to buy a townhouse, so if I decide I dont mind being house-poor I may do that and move. If not I would like to move to a better rental house

Lol, forgot that the Summer and Winter are the same for the OGs/Alumni. The real world does suck...forgot about that. I am hoping to be living in the burg half the time and at home half the time, so we will see if I can keep to my timeline. Every time I turn around Aaron is starting a new company. What is the rough plan behind the performance shop? What is the target market? My grandparents own a building in Woodstock that used to be a little service station. It has been a dream of mine since Middle School to start my own little speedshop / car stereo place there.
