 for Tirerack
#1
Not that I think anyone has ever had a bad experience with them.

Anyway, I had four tires shipped to a shop (YOU try fitting more than two in an S2000 without the top down and trunk open). Tracked them online, and they got there the next day. Great. Dropped off the car last night, get called, the shop only got the front tires. Who knows how a "1 of 2, 2 of 2" shipment got split up when they're as obvious as tires, but that's not the point.

Tirerack called up and put a tracer on the misdelivered package (read: try to get it back), but in the meantime, shipped out another set which should get there Monday. The shop will just have to reject it if they get a second set of rear tires.

Not "incredible" service since it doesn't really cost Tirerack anything, but it's a convenience for me.

A vendor feedback forum really isn't that bad of an idea.

Good to hear they are taking care of it for you Bill. What tires did you end up going with?

I agree that it would be a nice idea to have a feedback forum for both members and for vendors.

i've also had really good experiences with them. Only one sour one:

i ordered Borbet Type-T wheels with Avid H-4 tires mounted. When i recieved them in the mail i put them on the car. I realized that the offset was wrong and off by 8-10mm (fairly substantial on a 7.5" wide wheel). Called Tirerack immediately to see what would happen. I thought they would just provide a way to ship them back or something, but instead that since i mounted it on the car already that i couldn't ship them back. They refunded me $200 though and i ended up de-mounting the tires and selling the wheels and tires online to break even.

Other than that though, they're service and advice have been superb!

ES100's. I would've liked to go for something different like GS-D3's, but it's tough to justify spending $1k on tires.

Yeah mang.

Oh shit, you got Espelir's? I was thinking of picking up a pair just cause they're so cheap. These wheels in this offset are gonna rub if I lower too far though, and I don't want to touch the sheet metal on this thing.

But yeah, I'm definitely in. You getting Koni's or something to go with? I used to have a pair of spring compressors...either I lent them to someone and never got them back, or they're somewhere up home in Jersey.
