You got a decent deal on that one pete. I was talking to a guy the other day that was proud of his 2001 model trailer they just picked up for $950. Same as ur's minus the bling. So I would say for a new trailer with those extra bits thats good. My uncle has been speaking of a roll-back...I am in favor! I need to get some type of hauling method...too many busted piles.

I just took it to mean that must have felt that he had gotten ripped off on his and saw that it was actually a fair price afterall (I don't know what either of you paid, that's just my interpretation).

I took to mean that John paid a lot less for the same bits.

Ah anyhow, I don't care, I'm happy with my buy and those that don't like it can shove it ;-). And now I don't have to stress about how to get my car to, or more accruately from, the track!

And plus, it's only a few days old and already we already have a cool history. I love trailer.

My thoughts were more along the lines of "you're an asshole, rob."

Well lets ask Seddon and see what he meant, then we'll see who's the asshole.

My apologies, I should have elaborated. I picked up a local used steel 18' dual axle trailer this weekend with a few other goodies for $1650, and I was debating that price. I guess trailers have gone up in price and I hadn't been doing my research...

And you cant really compare the 2 since John's was used.
Pete thats a great deal on a trailer and even though I originally didnt want a wooden deck trailer, that one is #1 on my list of trailers

Are you still planning on driving your SM to VIR this weekend?

still?

never was planning on it. Im borrowing Gerald's truck and trailer (cuz not like he is using them anytime soon  Wink )

I drove it to VIR in december, and after my 02 sensor plug flew out on my last session, I was deaf by the time I got home. not to mention battered and bruised from that tiny seat and race suspesnion/tires/clutch.
never again.
