Hmm then Ill even refer to another car, mk3 supra, spec clutches(lower stages) uses stock pressure plate yet can hold a lot more power, hmm I guess Spec, SBR, and all them are all wrong. Behold RJ, you should make clutches.

You completely missed the point......

You said the clutch puts less load on the main bearings. Its because there is less clamping force on the pressure plate - which has nothing to do with the torque holding capability of the unit, which can be increased by other ways (friction disc material/construction, multiplate clutches, etc).

You cant increase the amount of torque holding capacity whithout increasing pedal effort or thrust bearing/throwout bearing wear. More plates = more friction = more torque holding. The downside? Expensive to make, and potentially hard to package.
