Club Cruise Day 5/1

Since we didn't do a club cruise day last weekend afaik... I've unilaterally decided to schedule one for this weekend for all interested .

I think saturday is better just because we still have sunday to study uninterrupted if you're into that... :roll:

too many other people are in. And, if we do it tomorrow, we'll definitely be in the rain. Come today. There is nothing more important! Also, look at the weather. It was supposed to be raining now, and it's sunny. Hopefully it will last just a couple hours longer

The way back kicked total ass, except for those two cars in the back that disappeared. Great idea, Jack. I dunno why this isn't done more often, like every couple weeks.

And I'm very happy with my tires, thank you very much.

yeah thumbs up guys, it was awesome. we will definitely plan these more often in the coming semesters...its just that we have had alot on our plates as it was this spring. anyway, the roads were in great condition and the weather cooperated, so we had perfect conditions. every time i go up there i find out something about my car i need to remedy, this time its brake pads. i had some scary fade and warpage on the way down...its no fun to watch the other guys just drive off while i have to gear down and brake 100 feet sooner than normal! :evil:

anyway we ended up with Jack, Jordan and his roomate Tristan (in shotgun), me, Jay, Ryan W., and Bill. finally got to see Bill's 318 up close, it looks badass and performs as good as it looks (mmmm camberrrr). i was very surprised with the speed it had for a 318. i mostly stuck with Ryan, Jay, and Bill, until my brakes gave up going downhill on the way back. Ryan really pulled away from us for the most part. Jay suffered from his trashy all seasons, which gave up grip pretty early. Jordan was kinda hanging back, but i'm sure he didn't know the roads as well as we did either. Jack was behind Jordan, so i didn't get to see much of him...aparently his all seasons were hurting him too. but overall we got to enjoy some awesome turns and let the cars wind out a bit. wish we had some pics, but oh well, we'll have plenty more opportunities next time.

yea i was hanging back cause i saw a bit of rain and i dont play with rain even a little bit. After i deemed it safe to continue (crest of mountain) i then rolled jack hard, so its all good
