VIR Audi Club

Me and Evan were at VIR for an Audi Club track weekend monday tuesday....

Had 2 good dry sessions saturday, then rained so hard I couldnt see or drive (no more than 1/2 throttle anywhere on track, even down the straights). Came in after 3 or 4 laps. Then the last session the monsoon had stopped and standing water went away, but Warren blew his shit up 2 laps into the session and it was black flagged. I cracked a brake rotor, fortunately Advance auto 10 minutes away had a pair and the tech shed was empty to work in. Cracked in 3 spots....









Sunday was great weather all day, nearly 200 track miles (6 sessions?) for both of us. I managed to do something really stupid and drop a wheel off at the entry to south bend (turn 10) and the car got loose on entry. I corrected and sent it straigh off into the field.... slid all the way to the back straight.

RJ: Dude, did you see my car?
Warren: No, why?
RJ: I went off in south bend....
Warren: Dumbass. What happened?
RJ: I dunno, but I slid all the way to the back straight
Warren: Now thats a quality off.... dumbass (in case i missed it the first time?)

Hopefully this will present some new sponsorship opportunity for '05 though....

Whatever, those A8s are pimp. 4.2 litre with 315 or 320 horsepower (can't remember), with Quattro and an all-aluminum body. That is one family car I would drive.

man, he got rolled by the chauffer (sp?) that was driving it, not by the family. the father was in the back checking his stock qoutes, while the mother was putting on her make up.

BMW 540 was used in The Transporter.

I may be wrong, but I thought that the car in the Transporter was a 735 with the shortblock V8 with a manual tranny (not available in the US).
