Whats up guys?

Hey, I'm Adam i talked to a couple of you guys at Summit Point this last weekend. (mostly Hunter) I had a good time and liked everyone i got a chance to talk too. I got some information on how to get some hours for the track and can't wait to get started on my car so i can be out there next year. I have a 89 CRX with a B16 in it (ONE.SICK REX) , Im going to start rebuilding/building it up next month at school. I go to James Rumsey Technical Institute (auto school in West VA) I work at Pep Boys, Im 19 years old and live, literally, 5 miles from Summit Point. I just wanted to say that stuff and get it out of the way so everyone isnt like "who is this kid". Anyways.... Madison Motorsports is obviously a car club of people that go to JMU, but how do you become a member? Do you have to go to JMU? What is the reason/advantages of becoming a member? And why? (just for fun or $$$)

Hey man. Welcome to MM. You do not have to be a student at JMU to be in Madison Motorsports and there are alot of benefits to being in the club. A few off the top of my head are working at the track and earning track days, wrench days, BBQs, and most importantly becoming friends with a group of people who are as passionate about cars as you are.

Hope to see you at the track sometime!

Hey adam, it was good to see you come out to the track, saturday was a damn good day to be out there. Keep an eye on this forum and feel free to come to any events or meetings we might have. You'll be able to really get involved in track days or autocrosses after the winter, the season will be starting up again then and hopefully youll have a car thats ready to go.

I never went to JMU and I'm a member, so that answers that.
as for why? You met Hunter, so you already know the caliber of people we have in this group, why wouldn't you want to be a member of such a great organization of people.
