Okay so I got a set of these from a friend free, How wide are they, I know they are 16inch and 7-spoke. Also how heavy are they. I heard somwewhere they are 8 inches wide which would be perfect for some autocross rims for me in which I could put 245s on correct?

If it is an 8 inch ride rim then you should be fine with a 245. However, you may have clearance issues on the car.
Nick
with spacers it wouldnt be a problem...
Tape measure and bathroom scale wont work as there are tires on it already and its up in nova. Deciding on wether to sell em or use em for autocross. If I sell em ill still need extra money to get new rims and tires to autocross on...

Tape measure will work fine - measure it from the inside of the rim... for the bathroom scale, weigh then look up the weight of the tire on it and subtract

i'm betting a dollar you'll have luck on a 3kgt forum!

you're nitpicking. I would imagine your best bet, like Mike said, would be to ask on 3si.com or a similar 3kgt forum. If you got these, why would you have to get another set of wheels? (use your current ones for daily and 3kgt ones for the autoX).
Its almost like having another Travis...nahhhh....nothing like the original. I'll think of it is a "Light Travis" it gets the job done, but itÔÇÖs not as satisfying or filling.
Just so you know. It is is a 16X8in rim. I also found on a 3kgt forum that the OEM wheels on a VR4 are 25lbs or 29lbs depending on the style, they were not specific.

I know that. The guys were saying VR4 NON-CHROME wheels were 25 for the "newer style" and 29 for the "first Gen." These are the wheels that where on that green beater I drove around on the weekends last year for a few weeks. I was giving that weight to give him an idea that it would be under that.

they are not semi-light... 3000gt and light are not meant to be used in the same sentence.
