Well guys I checked out the sight back in May I think and talked to a couple of guys. But as of 8 /15 I will have a house in Basye. I am currently north of Baltomre and driving everyday to north va area for work. Cant wate to cut this drive in half.
But anyway I have a 90 300zx tt. I am looking to find some place to see what the car will do in the quarter mile here. Big change from 4500'. You can just fell it. Also the best locations to buy parts around here. I dont mind internet for most things but every now and then a quick part is good.

Ah, hello again. I guess thats the second time I whored out MM on twinturbo.net, to the same person
As for 1/4 mile, I think your best bet is somewhere in Richmond, maybe VMP. There's a new track being built off of 340, called Shenandoah Speedway - not sure what it'll offer though. Once you settle in, you should join us up at Summit Point for an HPDE There are two coming up in the fall with NASA Mid Atlantic, one over the Sept. 24-25 weekend, and one over the Oct. 15-16 weekend. Just keep an eye on the events section here...

Yeah man, would love to see you come out to a driving school or what have you.

Why drive all the way to Richmond? Go to MIR.

Rob, did you even look at the numbers?
MIR is shorter timewise, but further overall distance. Considering traffic, they probably take the same amount of time. Far from ownage if you ask me.

with all those number's it's about equal, but that's kind of a shock to me. I thought that MIR would be a lot shorter.
75/80 8) - too bad it's closing after this year. I need to take the SHO up there before it does.
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.

I suppose it would have helped if I had known where Basye was. I just assumed it was close to northern va.
well, being about equal to each one seems better than close to just one, if you want to use both.
Mouse
basye is Mt. Jackson and yeah the school sounds like fun.

Well, MIR might be far away, but maybe not as far as Capitol? There's also all the 1/8 mile tracks around - old dominion in manassas-ish, sumerduck in like..culpeper, the one in winchester, whatever it's called, and ...is it called eastside raceway or something like that? near Waynesboro.
