Well, we have two engines.
Take both apart, see which is the flattest and most round, and use that block with the best parts from both engines for the GRM Car. (=Free)
Take the other and build one with good tolerances, balenced internals, and the right top end. Then use that one to think "sponcerships." (=Fast and Durable)
I have a pretty good professional video at home that shows a complete buildup of a Chevy engine (not sure which one, a V-8 nonetheless). Perhaps that'd be a good starting point? I'd even volunteer the comfort of my living room to host a get-to-gether to watch it.
