Yeah I just picked up my open trailer last night and spent 30 minutes trying to back the damned thing into my storage space. Good thing it was like 2 am so there was no one there to laugh at me.

Not really that funny, backing up with a trailer is hard as hell (you have to turn the wheel in the opposite direction you normally would while backing up, which is much easier in theory then it is in real life...) My GL had a hitch put on in a while back, and driving with a trailer on it is no fun at all (especially when it is 800lbs over what the car is supposed to tow).

yeah thanks, backing up sucks.

and the shorter the trailer the harder it is. A longer 2 axel trailer is 10x easier to backup than the 4' one.

yea buddy, it looked good being towed behind the sol, might wanna figure out a strap to help hold down the license plate (was flapping a lot)

yeah that was cool seeing you on the drive back to school. I was embarassed with my lack of power and insane weight load up afton mtn! haha.

A tip on backing trailers -

Place your hand on the bottom part of the steering wheel. Watch the trailer, and whichever way you want the trailer to go, turn the wheel. By placing your hand on the bottom of the wheel, you reverse the steering of the vehiicle, just as you have to do when backing a trailer.

And chad is corect, the shorter the trailer, the harder it is to back. That's one benifit of a semi, a huge move on the cab results in a small move of the trailer - just the opposite of what you guys are expereinceing.

yeah someone was telling me that (after I hit the damn thing) but it sounds like it would work.

What did you get, and from where?

I got an open deck trailer with a larger storage box on the front from a Honda dude in NJ. $1350. I put the 7 up on it but it doesn't have much room because of the box. Shouldn't have any problem with the Integra.

Now maybe I can convince James (Bimmerworld) to let me borrow one of the racecars for the car show...

yea it was cool, i figured with the extra weight of the trailer you would have some difficulties going up afton mtn, but its all good...
