John,
On the Z, what are the specs of your rotors? Diameter and origional thickness?
Do you have any used ones (yet!)? If so, I'd love to borrow one to test fit to this system.
Anyone else know of a 5x114.3 rotor that uses 12mm studs?

My advice, any rotor you get make sure you can get them easy and cheaply. You will use plenty of them. Esp when you start running carbotech pads . But deff go 5 lug so we can clearance your fenders with a used up set of my RA1's .

On a 2700lb car? I don't think so. I've replaced 4 rotors (which had at least 40k miles on them) in my 3 years of autocrossing and tracking. Maeng and Ryan have similarly weighted cars, and I don't think they go through them all too fast.

I go through rotors as fast as I go through pads (5-6 weekends per set) on my 200hp/2600lb car. Pete's car is going to have a lot more speed, and speed = brake wear, big time (KE = 1/2mv^2). He will be eating rotors and pads.

well, RJ goes through rotors because all of his crack. however, collins and myself are too slow to eat up rotors. i've tracked the sti once and its already got a ncie lip on the break rotors, something my integra has never shown. hopefully those rotors will get replaced along with the pads under warranty. w00t for subaru's warranty coverage

speed = brake wear, so you're going too slow.

mike doesn't go through rotors. mike's car isn't that much lighter than pete's. mike's car is a lot lighter than chad's. it was worth bringing up. evan's panties are all twisted and shizzle... i think it's just cause he drives a slow busted fag car, but i don't know.
