great game. not usually one to watch college football, but i felt compelled to tonight and i'm glad i did. that Montana q'back is really good, has great potential, but just wasn't enough. JMU running game was awesome, NFL type awesome.

all you JMU students, one thing, NO RIOTS please! :lol:

Amazing game, we ran around Glory Days in Fairfax giving 5's to everyone in the booths it was amazing.

I made it a goal to roadtrip to this game (since the rents wouldnt let me drive to the auto x =-/) and it was definitly worth the 10 hours there and back. Game was great, huge crowd, lotsa drunk tailgating JMU fans, just an awesome night.
Rushing the field after the game = priceless
I wonder why they took the goal posts down so fast, I mean plenty of us students were willing to help them with that :twisted:

lol that's crazy you all rushed the field. I saw part of the rush on tv... good stuff. The game was actually a lot of fun to watch and i must say it was basically one of the first jmu games I've ever actually watched.

I only missed one home game, and that was because of Ferrari of Washington. I went to the semifinal game at W&M, and I was pissed I couldn't go to the finals. I'm a student duke club member from the beginiing of school. JMU Football is awesome! I hope more people will take notice of JMU sports and become true fans.

My roommate has been going to games since he was in high school, his dad is an alumni, and he doesn't like it all that people are being bandwagon fans, fwiw.

In my four years at JMU, I *never* missed a home game. Neither did Jess.

even though there may be some "bandwagon" fans now... I think its good for a school that has never had a good team to cheer for. It brings the students together a lot more and promotes school spirit. Plus its an excuse to tailgate and drink in the middle of the day! Tongue

I don't consider anyone that goes to JMU or has gone to JMU a bandwagon fan. Thats just kinda dumb. Simply because more people come out to games because we are winning is a far cry from being a bandwagon fan.

And no one likes an elitist snob fan either. Would he rather that no one go to the game unless they've been to every game in the last five years?

wow, always dropping into an argument. Frankly I don't have time to spend going to the games. I was just happy I was able to not have to worry about school, or my work that I could sit back and relax a little and watch the game. Call me a bandwagon fan, or a fairweather fan, it doesn't matter to me.

i'm a fan... even though all but one year i was at JMU we SUCKED! JMU is a running based offence... and when they have a back that can do it... they win... ALOT... i'm such a fan that i got thrown out of the game by my boss (i was a police cadet but not working the game) for heckling the other team... :lol: i just wish it was year in and year out... and division 1A and we were kicking Miami, Ohio, ND, Texas A&M and everyone elses ass in the process ... like thats going to happen.

btw i went to a GMU party... and they all swore up and down that their club team (a very good national club team champion) was going 1A before JMU... i just laughed.

jmu was awful while i was there... i did watch the last two games on tv... i guess you can add me to the bandwagon team!

1999, baby when we won the Atlantic 10 and went to the second round of teh I-AA playoffs, beaten by Marshall IIRC. I can't say I went to all the games either cause I didn't, it is just my crazy roommate that complains to me about the issues(people coming to games, asking him for tickets). Cause he works in the media relations office.
