So Robert Miles passed away yesterday, only 47 years old. This guy was one of the icons of early dance music and influenced a LOT of DJs as evidenced by the social media response today. I would also say that he was one of the big reasons I fell so hard into EDM, Children and Fable were two of the earliest tracks I used to play on repeat. His Halloween show in Denver back when I was a freshman in college was the first rave I ever went to, and to this day still one of the most weird.

i heard them play Children in between segments on NPR today and thought it was oddly out of character for the news. just now realized it was a tribute. 
he was a huge part of my introduction to trance. i remember back (really dating myself) when i would stay up until 2 or 3 AM with my headphones on listening to the radio in my room, waiting with my hand on the record button to try to catch that song on my tape deck so i could make my own mixes. man....
