IM forwarding maybe?

data connect sounds like wireless internet. you can check news, scores, download games, ringtones, backgrounds, etc through a browser on the phone.

Yeah, sounds like hi-speed data transfer. The phone I'm using now has GPS which is hawt, because it can be tied into your 911 emergency service calls if something happens to you, or can be used to run mapquest on my phone.

by the way, is internet access on phones usually a set fee per month, or a fee for eeach use?

I can't remember Chris, but I think it's like $10 for monthly internet usage on your phone... for verizon anyway. Don't quote me though, I think I heard the customer rep telling some couple that last time I was there.

cingular charges you by the amount of data you get (for browsing web). it isn't too expensive.

my IMs cost $3/100 and then like $.05 for each after that. that's why i really hate when people know it's IM'ing my cell phone (it tells you you are) and still feel the need to send 15 messages in what could be said in one or two.

That has nothing to do with the service they provided dumbass, the service I get from them is excellent. But then again I'm not a cheap bastard that buys POS phones and then bitches at the customer service reps when they break and you need a new phone ASAP.

I never complained to them about my POS phone, only you - I know thats my fault Wink
