I was having a discussion about this with my friend. How do y'all feel about debadging?

I tend to leave the factory badges/decals, and only take off the dealer stuff...
My two feet.
if they're there, great. if they're not, oh well. I certianly wouldn't bother taking a badge off to make more work for myself. But if it fell off, I probably wouldn't replace it. I didn't see a "lazy" option.
Bah!
MORE badges!

i hate dealer badges, so i'd take them off. same with the liscense plate surrounds. i personally like badges, its part of the character of the car i think. however, there are some forms of debadging that add to the clean effect of a car that i can appreciate.
personally, if i ever do any debadging to my own car it would only be minor stuff like dealer badges or if the factory badge is excessively large.

If there was an EASY way to fill the holes, I'd take EVERYTHING off my car. Oh, and if it was easy to remove the Turbo II logo from the side w/o having the paint look all new with the rest of the old paint.

then i'm saying you're not important. GTFO!
seriously though, why is "si" important but "cx" isn't? they're just two different models.

I took off the WRX and Impreza badges on my trunk as well as the dealer vinyls. I think it gives the car a little cleaner look from the back. I would have taken off the S U B A R U, but I think it would have looked too bare for me.
Fortunately, on this particular car they're only held on by really strong double-sided tape. So I just worked them loose on a hot day with some fishing line and Goo-Be-Gone.

I say if it's easy to take them off, take'em off. I personally don't like badges. For instance i liked the front of my car badgeless. I do like the rear "H" in the back. One and only badge. Decals are different. I like subtle decals like the 'dohc' decals...although i'm thinking of taking them off as well. The front 'H', rear 'Si', and rear 'civic' badges were easy to take off, but the rear "H" leaves two holes...which means plugs, paint job, and money spent to take them off. Spending money to debadge (unless you're repainting the whole car) doesn't make too much sense to me. People really don't pay attention to the badgeless, but i like it that way.
front:
and the rear
but jason!!! si is important!

Looks good dude, very clean 8) *thumb up!*
Some people say debadging is rice. I generally disagree; I do think it's really ghetto when people do badge implants... like a BMW badge on a civic, or the Jaguar symbol I saw on a Corolla the other day

Who says that?
Personally, I say that if you can take a badge off without leaving a hole or a mark, do whatever you want. Don't take a badge off if it means leaving two goofy holes on your trunklid, or something like that.
My DSM was completely debadged. It was painted immediately before I bought it, and they hadn't put the badges on, so I told them to just leave the badges off, give them to me. I sold them for 30 bucks, and ran around Deep Creek looking like every other little DL Talon in town. If you couldn't tell from my exhaust, wheels, and the way I laid the smack on your ass, you didn't need to know.
I've debated about what to do with the badging on the supra. I mean, I can get a "2.5 Twin Turbo" badge from Toyota, but I'm not really sure I want it. I'm gonna take off the NASA sticker and maybe the TRD badge (since I don't have any TRD shits on my car) and just leave it bare. We'll see once I get it moving under it's own power.
