Lulz, was juust getting ready to post up a few pics of the DC's. Here's a pic of the prototype Daytona Coupe, CSX2287, coming to life at California Metal Shaping in the fall of '63. It had a hand formed aluminum body built by hot rodders in SoCal. :thumbup:

I wonder how they viewed their craft back then, since there were more coach builders around and shaping metal with rudimentary tools was kind of the norm. Amazing stuff to see today - may have been "ordinary" at that time?

I bet you're right. I'm sure it was just a cool job at the time, the epicness factor prob not being realized until years later. Kinda crazy to think this world beater came from such humble beginnings, built by the hands of skilled teenagers/20 somethings in various southern California hot rod shops. 'Murica!! :thumbup:

Hnnnggggg...525HP LS Crate motor, T56 trans, fenders flared. Supposedly made a custom charcoal cannister and stuff to keep it emissions legal.

Land Rover is rolling out a new appearance package for the Range Rover Sport just in time to debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Dubbed the Stealth Pack, it will be available for the Autobiography Dynamic and HSE Dynamic trim levels. The Stealth Pack will offer a few exterior design touches such as a satin black front grille and grille surround, fog lamp bezels, hood and fender vents, upper mirror caps and a tailgate overlay. Buyers who choose this appearance package will also have a choice of 21-inch nine-spoke wheels or 22-inch five-spoke wheels in satin black finish with wheel nuts finished in gloss black.
