Racedeck tile design ideas

Doing a racedeck floor for my new house, and Im brainstorming on what kind of design to do.
Ive settled on colors, Im tired of the contrasty black and white checker (and white gets dirty quick) so I want to go with graphite and alloy as my main colors, with royal blue to add some accents. I could be convinced of other colors too, or some black and white accents in there.

Going with regular 2x2 checkerboard looks pretty good, is super fast to install, and is a good fallback.

I also dig boxing out the parking spots in some way like this

not sure if that would look cheesy after a while though

I like this but the tiles are 3x3 and it takes a real big garage to pull off.

its essentially a 19x21 garage.
(the yellow are stairs, where there will be no tiles)

anyone else have any good looking ideas?

Id like to get the tile ordered today so I can have it here before next weekend

Well, if you don't go video game or mooninite, PERSONALLY I thought your design was a bit busy. I'd put like, solid black blocks where the tires go (since they'll turn black eventually) and grey elsewhere. But why not do something silly? :dunno:

Evan, good to hear you're dropping the black/white thing. i always thought that scheme was a bit "showroom" and not enough "garage", if that makes sense, plus white can't hold up to the grime. are you using the racedeck freeflow or the diamond stuff? i think you mentioned that you had to tear up tiles before because of dog pee so i'm assuming the latter. i love the freeflow stuff from an aesthetic standpoint because of the way the angles catch the light. reminds me a bit of a carbon fiber effect:

anxious to see what you get when you're done. i'm going to be doing mine in July and i wish racedeck was in my budget. i'll probably go with an epoxy coat + urethane.
