forgot to ask, did you explore any roads around the helen/unicoi area? i have a feeling you didn't with the long trip ahead, but if you ever go back, leave some time to take the long way home.
i spent a lot of time up there years ago and there is some pretty unspoiled twisty pavement if you get off the main routes.

Car just got shot for PVW "performance VW" last week! Should be awesome! Also just did a whole lot of cool stuff the past couple weeks. The photoshoot made me bite the bullet and do all the things I wanted to do but may have never done!

I don't know how to post pics! Painted the roof white along w center of wheels and valve cover. Covered recaros in red leather and stock rear seat to match. And cleaned up a bunch of loose ends!

Link that fourtitude (vw vortex for Audi) did on the car from a show last weekend. Some good pics but the PVW feature will be WAY better ! EDIT-I actually had the guy from fourtitude remove the above link as I had an agreement with PVW that no one would feature the car before the magazine came out. I didn't know fourtitude was going to do this mini feature. He will do it again after the magazine comes out!
