Ugh just got chills watching that, so many great memories from that night! Was that your first time at Echostage? If so, what did you think?

It was and i really liked it! Good layout, plenty of bar space, bartenders were quick, VIP was laid out well. The A/V was good not great.

They are closing next month for HUGE renovations. The people who did the sound system for the 2nd highest rated club/stage(I think U Street Music Hall) is doing their's so when they reopen it's gonna be even better.

I'm looking forward to the other DJs that echostage is going to be announcing hopefully this week. Not that into Calvin Harris. I saw Arnej in DC on Thursday and that is one of the best sets I have ever heard in my life.

Anyone going to this? Very excited to see KhoMha and Markus(Markus was my first event ever and I was blown away.) Also ready to see the huge sound and light renovations. I love all of KhoMha's stuff so I can't wait for this combo, not looking forward to seeing the M Machine though, I don't know why they are even touring together....

funny you say that. i like their old stuff (who doesn't like "homework"?) but haven't been blown away by the latest album. listened to, and downloaded a few tracks but otherwise just left wondering what the hype was about. maybe i just don't "get" their sorta-revamped style.

I've been really enjoying the album, but I can see where long-time DP fans wouldn't be blown away. It's impressive to me that they were still able to maintain links with their signature "sound" while switching primarily to analog instruments. Shows their flexibility and their talent as musicians (as if there was any doubt, of course.)

It's probably not for everyone, and I think Giorgio By Moroder kind of "explains" the album a little bit. Anyway, whatever, I'd give it a minimum :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: / :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
