Best Car Commercials Ever

What were some of your favorite car commercials of all time?

One that stands out for me the is the 300ZX commercial where the GI Joe jumps in his T-Top Z and drives up to the Barbie house to pick up Barbie for a date (soundtrack: You Really Got Me).

I have another fave that is awesome but I'll let you guys post before I drop it on you.

I have two ridiculous Ford KA commercials from England that were banned shortly after they aired. Both involved cruelty to animals hah. If anyone wants to host them let me know, they're sort of funny in a sadistic kind of way.

Oh yeah, supposedly Ford is coming out with a badass new commercial for the new Mustang that has the ghost of Steve McQueen in it...

interesting fact about that Z commerical G.....the producers of that commercial wanted the bedroom door (that the Z eventually drives through) to be open a certain width. however, the little R/C Z literally couldn't fit...the R/C pilot even demonstrated for the producers, but they wouldn't listen. so secretly, the Z driver propped the door a little farther open behind the producers' backs, and they never knew the difference :lol:

for pure coolness, i love the GT40 commercial. there was also a limited showing of a commercial for the Evo VIII when it first came out...showed a bunch of badass clips of it drifting, rallying, on PS2, on roadcourses, etc. the punchline was "we didnt just create a legend, we created a religeon".......or something like that. it almost made me cry it was so cool.

i also like that commercial of the guy in the porsche cayenne just revving it for his buddy on the phone. i hate the cayenne but it sure sounds hot.

i remember seeing that when i was in like middle school i think. during the part where they go into that museum of some kind with all the old nissans/datsuns i was going nuts because they showed alot of the race cars.

Well you all know which one I love. The Honda commercial that showed all of their winning race cars and bikes in the Honda museum in Tochigi Heart

yeah, the asian guy was actually the president of the company at the time. Great guy, and really into motorsports. (hence Nissan's extensive motorsports participation at that time)

i get chills watching that commercial... that is totally badass.
one of my favs right now is the one where it looks like it was shot with a camcorder and its got that one chick yelling about her boyfriend's stupid toyota tundra and they push it off a cliff and it lands without a scratch on it and the chick is really pissed off.

I never saw this commercial (chan did and he'll probably correct me on this), but Speed Channel played a Porsche one with a little kid sitting at the dinner table eating with his family. He was using a green bean as a race car around his dinner plate. Dad looks at him and says "what have I told you about doing that??" kid looks up at dad like he's in trouble...dad says "you accelerate through the apex!"
Points for a witty script! They must have pulled it though...pity.

High quality. The CD manual that I got (as an extra w/ the printed FSM) has all of the 300ZX commercials on it... My favorite (aside from the GI Joe/Barbie) is:

The one in Car and Driver for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo that read at the top "Do you really need 450 Horsepower to pickup diapers?" then at the bottom in smaller font it read "have you ever run out of diapers?"

Hardee's commercial where the hot chick is riding the mechanical bull....'nuff said.

Actually i like the mt dew commercials with the animals, the ram documentary, the cheeta commercial and others.

i took the option out of the 'car' commercial part Wink
