I Need A Ride...
#1
Hey MM, I need a ride to DC. I need to get there to I can catch a bus to NYC. I'm active with the National Police Explorer post back home and they're going to the 9/11 Memorial.
I'd really like to get to DC Friday afternoon/evening. The tricky part is that I'd get back to DC sometime really late Sunday/ 1 or 2 am Monday morning.
I understand if nobody can help me out on this. It is a lot to ask for.
But I someone can give me a ride, I will gladly pay.

Have you looked into amtrak? I think there is a station in Staunton. You might have better luck getting a ride down there. I dont know what the prices are though.

I know for a fact you could take Amtrak to DC from Charlottesville. Could be another option.

Actually I'm pretty sure you can take it all the way from C'ville to New York.

I can't do Amtrak, that's way too expensive. I'll look into Greyhound...

I checked out Greyhound. It's still way too expensive compared to what I found in DC

You can take greyhound into DC (or a metro stop in NoVa).
