I don't think Mikey qualifies as a hipster. Yeah, they share common interests but hipsters are arrogant about their interests for the sake of telling other people. Mikey is arrogant about his interests cause he's certain he knows best.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

singlespeed bicycle and an appreciation for natural products does not a hipster make.

Maybe the appreciation for natural products isn't necessary but being a guy that is a single speed purist doesn't help much.

Having an opinion on certain topics doesn't help either...

I've done some passing shopping and SC's with Navi seem to be pretty rare. The pickings are pretty slim, probably because of the time of year, so hopefully it picks up in the next couple months. I still have yet to drive one.

Yeah. There's a Honda dealer about a block from here and I was gonna go look at new ones... until I realized there weren't any.

Probably... but I haven't driven a car in 8 days, despite having a rental. We'll be a couple miles farther out once we move, but I still doubt I'll drive that much until we start exploring outside the city.
