Can't we just agree that all Japanese cars are soulless and move on?

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

Or we could just unplug Kaan's keyboard.

tracked a fwd honda for a season. then bought a miata.
there is no comparison, a miata is a much more fun and capable sports car and track car.
and thats even considering I have to wedge my 210+ pound 6'2" ass into one.
ScottyB Wrote:"proper wheels" don't make much difference when you're only putting down like 100whp. bah! Then ur doin it wrong. The only cars worth considering for road courses are RWD. While I agree, there's nothing "special" about a Miata, it does get exclusive status amongst the minority of cars that are still made with the correct drive wheels while everyone else just putts along to work, not knowing or caring which wheels put down power, because they only do that when accelerating onto the highway.
A FWD Honda on the other hand might as well be any FWD car, they're all the same. Street cars. Rental cars. A Honda might be the king of the class, but it's like.... being king of the retards.
Miata? Well it might be near the bottom barrel of the RWD club, some might poke fun, but at least you're in the right club. It's like how Porsche guys make fun of Boxsters. Fine. It's a hairdresser's car. A mid-engine, 250HP hairdresser's car.
So go get that Miata! Just.... don't ride around with another dude in the passenger seat too much.

Especially a tall dude, because you inevitably get too close to his knee shifting into 5th and then it just gets weird.

Well looks like I found out how to disband MM, start a debate about small cars that handle well. Andrew I'm going to keep looking for something with a little less mileage. Kind of waiting to find that elderly woman that's selling her dead husband's car. I'm not really in a rush.

Something tells me he's not looking for a $7k car... and honestly for seven grand, I'd buy a few other things before a low-miles NA Miata.

I didnt want to start a war. I want in Spec Miata because of the numbers, and the racing. Not all that interested in a lower power, rwd with a too small wheel-base and jelly bean shape :!: :hides:

The price is obviously too high, but he's open to offers and knows what the car is really worth. I actually found that listed on Supraforums, so its obvious that he's listing it to people who pay too much for old Japanese cars. It's an old Miata...you're supposed to barter.
Agree with DJ, I could see why none of our new members want the Miata shirt but after seeing a Stinger race and how much fun it looks, my opinion was changed. Plus it will help me learn to drive rather than just be fast in the straights. If you already have the experience, then I could see why a Miata wouldn't be what you are looking for. I just want to get into Spec Miata eventually becasue that giant mass of rainbow racers looks too fun to miss out on.
