that's really odd. it has nothing to do with me either... before we even looked at my credit both places asked what year the car was and told me the best they'd do for anyone was 24 months...

bank of america said the BEST they give on a '96 would be 24 months at around 10%

about to get derailed again~
i got 1.9% financing for 60 months on the wrx, but i had my dad cosign the loan though since my credit history was basically nonexistent. i probably wouldn't have qualified for such a low rate otherwise.

shitty wreck though, it's pretty common to see that kind of thing... definitely not common to have people walk away from it okay. A friend of mine has been bedridden for 3 or 4 months now after an aggressive (not drunk) driver hit him from behind and made the car he was riding in flip several times. Doctors told him that it was an absolute miracle that he is able to barely walk again, considering he was ejected from the car, crushed 4 vertebrae, broke his neck, and tore open his scalp.
