FUCK drunk drivers
fuck... now i don't want to buy navin's motor... reminds me how unsafe a 2000lb car is when 4000lb behemoths are piloted by drunks, women, and idiots.
edit: i didn't make much sense there.. i have the option of a new motor or a safer car right now.... i think safer car just won me over.

And now we know why Matt volunteers to stay sober and drive his friends so they don't drive drunk. Doesn't protect me obviously, but protects others from any possible harm my drunken friends might cause.

sorry feersty, I hope everyone else got pics. The post is no good without pics, it just doesnt make the same impact. Try again later.
I have absolutely, ABSOLUTELY, no idea how he survived that accident
On a side note it makes me sick to see so many people wish death on the other driver (ignoring the fact that he actually did die). Death should never be wished on anyone IMO.

You know, except for that whole paying for the car part

yeah, that part sucks... I'll take a loan out for over a million years then I might be able to afford it!

I don't drink and I'm ultra alert when I drive late. It scares the shit out of me.

Actually, yes you can. I got my loan for the supra based on a part time job that paid worse than Sheetz.
go to hell dave
fwiw, it also nearly impossible to get a decent loan on a car older than 5 years... before even looking at my credit the loaners (bank and credit union) said the best they could do on an 8 year old car is 24 months...

Bah, you just gotta know which bank to go to. 5 year loans on old cars are not hard to come by, I've had 3 of them.

The supra was 8 years old when I got the initial loan, and 9 years old when I refinanced it. Both were for 3 years and I didn't even have a credit history at all when I got the first loan.

I got a loan on the Z (24 months at 5.25%). Could've gone out to 48 @ ~6% if I wanted. Of course, it (or the Lightning - haven't decided quite yet) will be paid off as soon as the check from the VW clears.

pay off the track car, pay off the track car, pay off the track car, wouldn't it suck to wadd it up and still have to pay for it? So I repeat, pay off the track car.
